A phase 2 double-blind placebo-controlled trial in 338 adults reported least-squares mean body-weight change at 24 weeks of -17.5% in the 12mg group versus -1.6% with placebo. Gastrointestinal effects were the most common adverse events, mostly during dose escalation.
